Ever wonder what happens to spent grain after beer is made? Join us at Blackwater Draw Brewing Co. to learn about the circular economy being established right here in Bryan/College Station, and how insects and beer could save the world!

EVO Conversion Systems, LLC is a College Station based company founded by global experts on using the Black Soldier Fly to recycle organic material and produce products of value. EVO has developed a collaborative, zero-waste network in BCS, where we work with local brewers and distillers, and use insects to upcycle grain into protein for animal feed, and produce a compost that is utilized by a local landscaping company. The presentation team will include Dr. Jonathan Cammack, a co-founder of EVO, Ms. Amy Dickerson, and Mrs. Chelsea Miranda. This team manages and operates the EVO facility in College Station, and all three have Entomology degrees from Texas A&M University.

This event is completely informal, come prepared to enjoy beer, spent grain treats, and to meet some fellow craft beer loving ladies in the area.
